With my final PCS to Washington DC with the Air Force as a commissioned officer, I ended my OSI Career and traded being a Special Agent to a Real Estate Agent and have loved every minute. I have a passion for first time home-buyers and the military community. My passions are my family, faith, health and the happiness of those in my life. Raised on a farm in Ohio, I bought my first property at 19 during college, enlisted in the Navy at 21, received a commission along the way and retired with 20 years as a Navy Mustang. Went into government contracting as a trainer and program manager where I built teams and managed contracts for IT services. Five years ago I became a full-time Realtor in DC, MD & VA and founded MilVets Home Team of military veterans serving fellow veterans with a focus on educating first-time homebuyers.

After spending the first 5 years of my military career in Germany, I arrived in Washington DC in 2008. Within a year, I had purchased my first property using a VA Loan. DC is a unique (and often competitive housing market) where I have rented, owned, and managed properties. Washington DC became my home base over the next 15 years as I relocated overseas...but always found my way back to our Nation's Capital as a military intelligence officer.

After 24 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army, I transitioned into real estate. Most of my military career was spent in the DC area, serving with Pershing’s Own, the U.S. Army Band. With over 90 closed transactions in the DMV, I bring extensive experience to the table for both buyers and sellers. It’s an honor to serve and assist active-duty service members and veterans in finding their homes in the DC area. I currently live in Arlington, VA, with my wife, two kids, and our dog.
